27th Odisha State Film Award


The 27th Odisha State Film Award - 2015 was announced by the culture and tourism minister Ashok Chandra Panda at Pantha Niwas, for a life time good performance for growth and development of Odia cinema Cinematographer and Producer Ashok Swain awarded to Jaydev Award for lifetime contribution. Sushant Mani directed movie Kehi Nuhe Kahar won the Mohan Sundar Deb Goswami award as the best film of the state.


Best Director Award got Director Amiya Kumar Patnaik for his biopic ‘TulasiApa’ which was based on Padmashree Tulasi Munda’s life. Soumyaranjan and Barsha Nayak, actor and actress of this biopic got the Best Actor and Actress Award. Best story award got the movie Ishq Tu Hi Tu. Arindam and Elina were the star of this movie. It’s a love story base movie.


Best Music Director Award got the music director Pankaj Jal for his music in Tulsi Apa. Singer Goutam Giri and Antara Chakrabarty got the Best Singer Award in both male and female categories.

Special jury award got Sabyasachi Mohapatra directed Pahadara Luha and Tv Serial Nabakalebara was chosen as the best serial and its director Shiba Prasad Mohanty as best serial director.
